Privacy Policy

The site is a set of static pages served from a server rented from Hetzner in Germany, inside the EU. There are no user accounts, no shop and no payments on this site.

When you send a message through the contact form, the server stores your name, email address, message, IP address and the time of sending. The IP address is recorded to help spot abuse of the form. These records are kept until they are deleted by hand; there is no automatic deletion.

The message is then emailed to Marjolein through Resend, an email delivery service, using its EU region. It arrives at hello@marjoleinverstappen.nl, which ImprovMX forwards to her Gmail inbox. From there it is handled like any other email. She uses it only to answer you.

You can also write to her directly at the address above, without using the form.

Newsletter sign-up is not open yet, so no newsletter data is collected through this site at present. This page will be updated before it opens.

The site sets no cookies and loads no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. Fonts and images are served from the same server as the pages; nothing is loaded from other websites. Links to Instagram only take you there when you click them.

The web server records, for each request, the IP address, the page or file requested, the referring page, the browser's user-agent string, and the time. These logs are kept for 7 days and then deleted automatically.

Once a week they are summarised into a report for the site owner that holds only counts and countries - no IP addresses.

Under the GDPR you can ask to see the personal data held about you, and to have it corrected or deleted. You can also object to its use.
